Brand your INKY deployment

Oftentimes, end-users can become overwhelmed when their organization utilizes multiple SaaS (Software as a Service) applications. To alleviate this, administrators can enable branding on these applications to instill a sense of comfort and familiarity. INKY provides a granular experience that allows administrators to customize email banners, landing pages, and sensitive content warnings with custom text and logos.

Banner Configuration

Customization of these settings are found here: Markup Settings - INKY

INKY's banners can be configured in several ways. You can choose the amount of threat category detail to include in the banner versus behind a "Details" link. You can also choose where the links like "Report This Email" are placed relative to the background color. You also have a choice of imagery to include within the banner.

Banner Links, Policy Messages, and Landing Pages

Banner Links

In the Banner Links section of the customization page, you are able to customize links that appear within your INKY banners. Specifically, administrators can customize the Branding Link Text, Branding URL, and FAQ Link Text & FAQ URL. By default, these links navigate to inky.com, though you may want to customize the links to navigate to your organization's webpage.

Sensitive Content Policy Messages & Links

When INKY detects sensitive content in messages, administrators may configure a custom policy message (and optionally link to a website for more information) based on the category of sensitive content detected. Some basic HTML formatting is allowed (i.e., <u>, <i>)

There are currently three supported sensitive content warnings:

  • Password

  • Financial

  • COVID-19/Coronavirus

To not show any special message, leave the fields blank. To disable the detection of a category altogether, uncheck the corresponding checkbox.

Landing Page Branding

INKY’s landing page is displayed when a user selects the “Report This Email” link within a bannered email or a rewritten URL that requires user confirmation (See the Link Rewriting guide for more information). The Header Text, Header URL, and Logo can be customized by an administrator.

1 - Custom Logo & Header URL (Clicking the image will direct the user to the Header URL if that field is populated)

2 - Header Text
