Tools
Summary
To find the Tools section, navigate to the Settings tab within your INKY Dashboard. This section allows administrators to decode URLs rewritten by INKY and manage an existing Microsoft 365 installation (if applicable).
INKY Link Decoder
This tool is used to decode an INKY-rewritten link to obtain the original URL and related message details.
You may only decode links in messages you are permitted to view as an INKY administrator.
To decode a URL, paste the URL in the rewritten link text box and select “Decode”. All INKY rewritten links will begin with https://shared.outlook.inky.com or https://link.inky.net.
Selecting “View Observation” will provide more information about the email itself, identical to an email found under the observations tab.
Manage Microsoft 365 Deployment
By selecting the “Manage Office 365 Deployment Option”, INKY administrators who are also Microsoft 365 global administrators can perform the following tasks:
-Discovery: Sends INKY support a snapshot of your Microsoft 365 tenant for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
-Install: Installs transport rules, connectors, and groups necessary for INKY to function on Microsoft 365.
-Enable/Disable: Enables or disables transport rules in Microsoft 365 necessary for INKY to function. This option does not remove transport rules or connectors.
-Uninstall: Removes all transport rules, connectors, and groups related to INKY.
-Features: Enables additional add-on features that are available in your INKY subscription.
-More:
Phish Finder: Query your mail environment to see what INKY would have caught as malicious without actually installing INKY.
Remediation: Grants API access to allow INKY Administrators to remove messages from users’ inboxes directly from their INKY Dashboard.
Add INKY to IP Allow List: Adds INKY’s IP addresses to your connection filter in Microsoft 365.
Add AntiPhish Policy: Adds an INKY-specific AntiPhish policy in Microsoft 365.
Update OBC-VPC-O365-RETURN Connector: Modifies the OBC-VPC-O365-RETURN connector to the recommended setting. This option is commonly used for clients on older installations having issues with false-positive spoofed internal sender warnings.
