Audit Log

Summary

INKY’s Audit Log feature allows for easy tracking of changes made on the INKY Dashboard. As a Super Administrator, it allows for complete oversight of all the changes made and actions performed.

Audit Log

The audit log consists of 3 main sections: the time range, filter events, and events table.

Time Range

The audit log tracks events for the previous 24 hours, last week, and last month. If you need logs from a timeframe that has aged out of this dashboard, please open a ticket with support@inky.com.

Filter

The filter events bar is a free text search option. Simply type in the field to bring back specific events. For example, typing the email address matt.smith@polvocapital.com brings back all the actions Performed By matt.smith@polvocapital.com or any Event details

Events Table

The event table is the full details of the logged event. Clicking on an event then selecting More Info gives additional context for the event and some events provide deep links to associated email events.

Timestamp

The datetime group of the given event normalized to the time zone of the current user.

Event Name

Policy Change: any settings changes that happen on the INKY dashboard not associated with the below events.

Admin List Change: An admin was added, removed, or modified.

VIP List Change: A VIP was added, removed, or modified.

Message Body Viewed: The body of a message was viewed by a given admin.

Performed By

The admin that performed the given event.

Events Details

The event that was performed by the given admin and the event type.

Selecting an event then clicking More Info provides additional context for a given event in a popup. If available, a deep link to an associated event can be found within the popup.
