Installation Errors

Installation requires organization settings customization to be enabled for the tenant. Although it has been enabled, this has not yet taken effect. Please allow some time for this to happen and try again later.

• Please allow more time for propagation to take affect before attempting to install again. It could take anywhere from 1 to 12 hours for Microsoft to finish “hydrating” the tenant. More information here: Enable-OrganizationCustomization (ExchangePowerShell) | Microsoft Learn

There is no team for this tenant.

• You’re likely trying to install using the manual https://tools.inkyphishfence.com portal instead of the auto-onboarding portal, please generate a license key INKY Licensing - Generate License Key for the new team and attempt the install using auto-onboarding.

Unable to create team for domain.com: Error when attempting to create a team: The license key has already been redeemed.

• The link you’re using to install a new team on has already been redeemed. Visit INKY Licensing - Generate License Key to generate a new license or INKY Licensing - Licenses to retrieve the appropriate license

Unable to create team for domain.com: Error when attempting to create a team: domain domain.com already assigned to team INKY_TEAMID

• A specific domain on the M365 tenant you’re attempting to install on is already associated with another INKY team. Please contact support@inky.com to help verify the domain and remove it from the previous team if necessary.

For this service offering, you can’t create or update inbound connectors in your organization ‘M365-Tenant-UUID’

• Microsoft has denied creation of inbound on-premises connectors on organizations using the Business Basics or Business Standard license. There is a fix from Microsoft coming soon that will allow INKY to install on these tenants. That fix should be in place by April 2023.
