Message Lists
Summary
The message list widget contains a comprehensive list of all messages that have been processed through INKY. To create a message list, create a new custom dashboard and select the message list widget.
Message List Filter
Administrators have the option to apply filters based on the characteristics of a message. There are currently over 40+ filters available to use. In the example below the user is searching by the FROM and TO address.
Result Filtering
The filter icon on the right side of your message list will display a filter to apply to the current message list.
Checking the All Actions checkbox will hide all messages in the list with any action applied to them. Otherwise, to apply specific filters to the results check each action individually.
The Hide Messages On filters can be individually selected to help isolate messages that need to be addressed. Each option will hide a message that has any allow, block, or policy applied to it, respective of the selected filter.
Actions Tab
When a message is selected in the message list the actions tab will appear at the top of the window. For full details on the operation of each action please review the message details page.
When multiple messages are selected in the message list, a subset of available actions will be presented to the user, based on the compatibility of each selected message. The remediation feature (red trash can icon) requires API access to be configured beforehand.
Lists & Actions Columns
The lists column will show icons for any active policies that would apply to the message. This includes allow, block, and trusted third party entries.Â
Please Note: This does not indicate if a message was allowed or blocked based on the list, only if the message has an existing policy that would apply to it. For example, after a new allow list entry is created for a specific domain, all emails in the message list from that domain would have the allow list icon present.Â
The actions column displays one or more actions associated with a message. The eyeball icon indicates that a message was clicked in the message list so that its analysis results could be viewed. A green icon indicates that the current user viewed those results while a gray icon indicates that another team member viewed those results.
