Google Workspace (G Suite) Warning Banners

Summary

Customers using Google Workspace as their mail infrastructure may see the “Be Careful With This Message” warning banner in addition to the INKY’s banner as shown in the screenshot below. When your mail is redirected to INKY for processing, Google’s basic authentication checks are triggered once the message is returned to Google. To prevent these banners from displaying, please follow the instructions below.

Disable Google Workspace Banners

  1. Navigate to the Google Workspace Administrator Console

  2. From the main menu on the left side of the screen, select Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail

 

3. Select Safety

 

4. Under Spoofing And Authentication look for Protect against any unauthenticated emails. Uncheck this checkbox if it’s checked and be sure to save your changes.

 

According to Google, modifications in the Google Workspace Administrator Console may take up to 24 hours to fully propagate.
