Summary

The Allow List gives admins the ability to add email address or domains to bypass certain Banner Result Types. This is critical for receiving important safe emails that might be labeled otherwise.

Setting

  1. Navigate to your INKY Dashboard

  2. Select Settings > Allow List

You can add entries by selecting “Add New Entry.” You can now select the Result Type that you’d like the sender to not be flagged for. After selecting the result type, you maybe enter one more more email address or domains. For multiple entries, you can separate the entries by comma.

Selecting Dry Run will add the entry below the Criteria field as a preview. You can commit the changes by selecting “Add Entry.” You can also exit this pop-up by selecting Cancel where you’ll be able to view all of your entries again.

Allow listing via received email:

Access the dashboard to drill down to the email message you would like to suppress INKY findings.

Here you can pick which Allow List action you’d like to take. The best practice is to have the allow list entry with the most specific criteria. Once the entry is added, INKY will not show that threat category on future emails.

You can also select “Report this Email” if you think we’ve caught something in error.
